OK! So I've been asked for Counter Strike and COD4 also TF2 for tournaments. The plan was to have a team based tournament a RTS tournament and a 1v1 tournament. There will not be internet there, so it might be too big of a pain in the ass to get around steam validation.

For the RTS it's going to be Supreme Commander Forged Alliance
For the 1v1 I was leaning towards UT3.

If you'd like to see no 1v1 tournament or something other than UT3 for 1v1 just make a post in here.

I would say COD4 instead of 1 vs 1 ut go deathmatch. Definalty TF2 that all I have been playing since teh release date and cs:source to bring the counter strike. Not too many people will play RTS and lans takes too long. I am a rts player been everywhere to play in c&c3 tournys.

I run a few dedicated COD4 servers so if you need any info on server settings and such just let me know.

you should have no problems with steam authentication.. as long as everybody stays logged in before they leave.. turn off the computer. don't exit steam. problem somebody got a few of these lans to have everbydy sign out before they go. not hte last IU lan, but hte 1 before it had that problem.

Getting everybody to do that isn't always easy. So the question is how to get someone that didn't do that on with everyone that did.
