| This was the desired effect as there is no other easy way to link back to the main site without manually entering the address. The name was pulled from the forum database. Apparently it was set when I first set up the database and I didn't realize that it was used for that specific link. A simple change from the Administration menu was able to correct it. I changed the link to pLan X Gaming to reflect that it's supposed to link directly to the main site. You can still link back to the main forum page by using the Forums link on the top right menu.
